MISSION STATEMENT

The Pet Lovers Club is a Chartered Club whose primary goal is to cultivate community spirit through education and adherence to pet regulations as prescribed in the HCR HOA CC&Rs; and to provide a safe area for HCR Pet Lovers to responsibly exercise their pets off leash.

We have been unable to obtain land from Pulte, but are working to obtain a portion of land that has already been turned over to our Home Owners Association. We have created a petition to collect 250 signatures in favor of creating an off-leash area at HCR. This area will be completely funded and maintained by the members of the Pet Lovers Club. No money will be asked of the general residents of HCR. You can read more about this in the August minutes. Please read the Proposed Waiver document and the Proposed Rules document to familiarize yourself with some of the ideas that the PL Board Members have discussed. The Proposed Waiver has been written by a lawyer; the Proposed Rules are fashioned after rules at Hardberger Park and Nane Falcone off-leash areas.

As a few residents were very vocal against having a dog park at HCR, we are putting this project on hold for the time being.
